Incident Description
Kelvin Rodolph, a 15-year-old Black boy, approached an off-duty Buffalo police officer in front of a convenience store at 2 a.m. and attempted an armed robbery with a BB gun. The officer fired five shots and fatally wounded him.

Fatal cop-involved shooting in Buffalo
Police say 15-year-old Kelvin Rodolph walked up to Officer Lamar McCulley and demanded his valuables outside a minimart early Friday, threatening him with what appeared to be a semiautomatic handgun. They say McCulley then pulled his own weapon and shot the teen dead. It turned out the weapon Rodolph allegedly pointed at the officer was a BB gun. - abc7NY
