Less than a week ago, according to Buffalo police, a 31-year-old Hertel Avenue man called police and asked to be taken to Erie County Medical Center for psychiatric treatment. Early Monday morning, he called police again. This time, he told them someone was trying to kill him. Man shot after threatening police officers with knife pleads guilty to felony charge
The man who was shot by Buffalo police pleaded guilty to a felony menacing charge before Erie County Court Judge Kenneth Case. He faces a maximum of seven years in prison when he is sentenced Sept. 18 and continues to be held without bail. He was treated for multiple wounds in Erie County Medical Center.
